Fundraiser for the Miller's

So this is a little bit different of a post. When Tyson and I first got married there was a couple that we got to know, the Miller's. They have since moved and had their third child, Seth, who has been basically in the hospital his whole life with a lot of medical problems. They are a really awesome family and I am very inspired by their courage and continuing faith. The medical bills they must be facing must be very intense. There isn't anything I can do to make Seth's complications any easier except pray, but I think I can help a little with the money. I want to do something, so I am having a little fundraiser for them. I am taking any chocolate orders in the next few days and any money I would make as commission off of it, I am donating to their family. So, if you would like to order chocolate and help their family, just email me in the next few days and let me know (camio18@hotmail.com). Or, you can donate straight to them: http://millermm.blogspot.com/. I'm sure they would be very grateful for anything you can do. Thanks!

Lakehouse

Last year and this year, Trent, Becca, and Trent's parents have been awesome and let the office and families come to their lakehouse for a weekend retreat of relaxation and bonding. Let me tell you, there is no place in the world like this. There are hardly any bugs, it is a gorgeous place, boating, yummy food, it is just perfect. Seriously, I can't wait until Tyson and I are rich (because we will be :) ) and have a lakehouse of our own. Of course, the yacht comes first. :) Tyson is pulling Josh, Ethnie and I around on this very comfy boat. Tyson also took me on the wave runner and almost broke my leg when he accidentally threw me off, but don't worry, I pulled him off with me. :)The view from our room. So much fun.

Action shot. Look at the arm on that stud muffin in the blue shirt. That is Josh in front of me, with the pyscho cowlicks. :)

Dallas and Amber were awesome and had enough energy to run around the boys. This is Dallas helping Caleb walk. Which by the way, he took a few steps by himself two days ago, hooray!

What a ham. I love my boys!
Breakfast of crepes on the deck outside, what could be better?

John made these fabulouso crepes, sorry the shot is so blurry, it is the only one I took.

So thank you soooooo much DeSpain family, that was wonderful and so much fun! My only regret is that I didn't go skinny dipping with Tyson, haha.

Dear Diary...

So, since I have gotten back from Utah, I have been reading through all of my journals since I brought them all back with me. Oh, man, I have gotten nothing done but I have been having a riot just laughing at myself and my past memories! So, I decided, especially after chatting a bit with Heather today, that I just must share some with you all. :) So here goes...

Happy Birthday Feather!

Wow, how long I have known you Heather! I can't believe that it was almost 10 years ago that I met you! I hope you are having the best of days celebrating all your happy birthdayness. :) I miss you tons and tons. I was having a hard debating on what memory I should share on my blog in memory of you. And this is the one I came up with:

I'm pretty sure we were seniors, we got a box of oatmeal creme pies, and a 2 liter thing of soda with two pretty glasses. We sat in your yard and eat and drank and spoke the entire conversation in British accents and pretended it was years from then and that we were married and had kids. It was so much fun. I always loved that about you, when I am around you anything is possible, even if it is completely pretends. You always believed I could do anything, and you always believed in me and supported the decisions I made, even when no one else would. Thank you Heather, I miss you I'm wishing you a great birthday!!! I wish I was with you!

Happy Birthday Marissa! (Late, sorry)

So sorry, I have been in another world for so long, I kind of forgot about everything but being home with Tyson and trying to finish up my next writing assignment on time. So Marissa, I hope it was a great day and you did something utterly fantastic that lets you never forget it. So, one of my favorite memories of you is:

Well, one time, me and I think Kirsten, Heather and Kristen (maybe not all three, but some of them) went to your house and you opened the door with a towel around your hair and you were freaking out. You said something to the affect of, "Okay, so I was trying to dye my hair, but it went awful (something about the dye being auburn, but totally not working or maybe it was blonde, I don't know). My hair is orange, not even kidding, orange." So we all laughed, you took us to the bathroom and took off the towel and I about died, because your hair truly was flaming orange. I will never forget that face with your eyebrows raised and your lips pursed and you just furius and your hair a very Timpview patriot color. Just so you know, even if you hadn't redyed your hair that night, I still think you are so pretty you could have pulled it off no problem. :)

Thanks for being so much fun!

Happy Birthday Kirsten Sue!

Kirsten has always been kind to me and so much fun! I just love her to pieces. I wish I could be more like her. My favorite memory of her:
Once at a sleepover at Heath's house, I had a really bad headache. Instead of going and hanging out with everyone else, Kirsten gave me "therapy." She wrapped nickels in wet toilet paper, put them on my eyes; put deoderant on my hands, gave me a teddy bear to hold and told me a story about how all these things would help me feel better. It was pretty much hilarious especially since we barely knew each other, but I have never forgotten her ability to make me laugh and how kind she always was to go out of her way to make me smile.
Happy Birthday Kirsten!

Week of Celebration

June and July are crazy for celebrating in our home. Let me tell you why:
June 18: Zach's (my bro-in-law) birthday
June 23: Adryan's (my nephew) birthday
June 30: KJ's (my brother) birthday and Tyson's parents anniversary
July 1: My Grandma's birthday
July 2: My birthday
July 4: Tyson's birthday and 4th of July
July 8: Tyson and my anniversary and Kirsten's birthday
July 12: Papo's (my grandpa) birthday
July 21: Kate's (my friend) birthday
July 22: Cassie's (my sis-in-law) birthday
July 26: Ammon's (my little brother) birthday

Not to mention that KJ and Court are getting married on the 17th of July. And I probably forgot something important on there. Isn't that crazy? I love it though! So this week has basically felt like a party, and it has only just begun. Good thing I love to party, eh?

Tagged by 3's

Thanks Riss, I love tags, it makes me so happy.

joys:
01. Reading with Tyson
02. Making Josh giggle
03. Learning new things

fears:
01. pain
02. forgetting people or things that are special to people, or missing out on those things (hence the much money spent on plane tickets this summer)
03. being forgotten

goals:
01. write a book
02. get out of my house at least once a day
03. get Tyson a really good Father's Day present (any ideas?)

current obsessions:
01. The Office, the one thing I promised myself I'd never watch
02. Tyson, but he is always an obsession, lately it is trying to bother him, that is pretty fun
03. Avoiding writing for my class, why? I'm not quite sure

random, surprising facts:
01. I clean when I'm mad, if you see my house you will know that I have been happy lately :)
02. I took French for an entire year and don't remember a thing
03. I am pretty good friends with Tyson's old girlfriend and Mike (my old boyfriend)'s wife. Maybe that isn't suprising to others, but I'm suprised at myself.

To My Friends

This is for my friends, because I want them to know I love them and I miss them so much. I can't believe it has been such a long time since we were in high school, dreaming about what we would do when we grew up. I want to see and hear about what you guys are doing now, since we are "grown up" although I don't really feel that way. Heather told me about this whole blog thing, so I will just treat it like I am writing in a journal, but to you guys. Thank you for everything you are to me, I love you lots and lots!
